Revitalizing Downtown Oly

This project began as a component of a capstone project. A series of interviews with local businesses, organizations, and officials started the conversation about what Olympia can do as it builds for the future. This project keeps the conversation going.

20,000 over 20 years

The City of Olympia expects to add roughly 20,000 new residents by 2040. But new housing construction isn’t keeping up with the pace of growth.

The goal of this project is to have a continuing conversation about how to accommodate and plan for this growth.
